PERFECT , for any occasion!
I would say this is true to size, but also could size up depending on your style. I am usually a size 4-6 top and I have this in blue, as a size small-regular and in black in size medium-petite. I prefer the fit of the medium-petite. It makes it a bit shorter which is good for my height (5'3) and the medium just gives a little room to breath. But the small also fits well and is only slightly tighter in the bust. There is some wiggle room with the sizing, but if you have a larger bust I would consider sizing up one size. Thanks to the tie you can make up for any extra looseness in the mid section. Very comfortable and the material does not wrinkle when sitting for extended periods of time, which is a bonus! Also love that it is bra friendly. The wrap tie makes this very flattering on my body type--larger bust and bottom, so the tie at the waist really cinches you to accentuate an hourglass, but I imagine it would give some good shape to someone who is more straight/lean as well. Obviously, I love this top. I am praying they come out with more colors (and stock plenty of sizes) because I it is a perfect, go-to, top..
